Basic Firearm Safety Class

FireARMadillo Basic Firearm Safety Class introduces students to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. Through this Class, the students will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, pistol shooting fundamentals, and pistol shooting activities.

Firearm 7 Fundamentals Class
The objective of this course is to take you to the next level picking up where the Basic Firearm Safety class left off. Marksmanship is a precise skill that requires focus, practice, and routine steps for safe and accurate shots. Learning to handle a firearm properly and refining your craft will help you become a safer, more precise gun handler. Our certified firearms instructors share the seven fundamentals of marksmanship and why each is important.

Gun Cleaning & Maintenance

This course combines one hour of shooting practice and one hour of instruction in gun disassembly, cleaning, assembly and maintenance. Two versions are offered: one for handgun, and one for rifle. During the course, each student will field strip, clean, re-assemble and test fire the firearm they used for the shooting drills portion of class.
Intended For

Adult individuals who are not disqualified from possessing a firearm as defined by applicable federal, state, or local law and are of good repute and possess defensive pistol skills presented in the NRA Basics of Personal Protection In The Home Course.

Holster Class

The three-hour class will start with an hour of classroom instruction going over types of holsters, materials, carry positions and methods, increasing comfort and concealability, as well as every day carry considerations. The next section of the class will be learning the 4-step draw using our provided SIRT training pistols and holsters. Students will spend 1 hour on the range and shoot approximately 100 rounds of ammunition during holster qualification. Students will receive course completion certificate card.

If you do not have a handgun or you do not have an adequate outside the waistband holster, students will be able to rent a Glock 9mm or 22lr pistol and holster from us for $5 plus the cost of ammunition.

License To Carry (LTC)

The Texas License to Carry a Handgun, or commonly known as the concealed handgun license and concealed carry permit, is the license required in Texas to conceal or open carry a handgun in public. The OnlineTexasLTC.com online course is officially approved by Texas DPS and is needed to get your License to Carry. Traditionally, students would be required to sit through a license to carry class in a classroom for 4-6 hours, then proceed to the shooting qualification.
